Port Authority di Pisa Srl is a wholly public-owned company, established in order to manage the Navicelli Channel and the neighboring state-owned areas. Its task include maintenance and use of the channel management, in particular waterway bed dredging and mobile bridges opening to allow boat traffic.
MORE SPECIFICALLY THE COMPANY MANAGES:
> Administration of state-owned land and buildings;
> Assignment, management and control of state-owned concessions;
> Waterway bed, bank defenses and docks maintenance, including dredging of the bed and removal of submerged materials where necessary;
> Management and control of boat and ship navigation, maneuvers, launches and hauling within the Porto Pisano and along the entire channel;
